This review is deeply personal to me. I asked my daughter, a commercial realtor based in Atlanta, whether she knew anyone who worked in real estate in the Carolinas. She said yes and added me to a group message with Mr. Javin Daniels. My immediate reply was, “Javin—from East St. Louis?”
Here’s the backstory: Javin was my intern more than 17 years ago. He and my daughter became friends, but I didn’t realize they had stayed in touch. I also had no idea that Javin had relocated to North Carolina or entered the real estate business.
Here we were, all these years later, and it felt as though we had never lost touch. Javin is the best! We spoke by phone several times over the course of a month before meeting to look at what was supposed to be land. The day before our meeting, I texted to ask whether we could tour a few houses as well. He quickly arranged everything for the next day. He met us, in South Carolina, touring a new construction first. BIG MISTAKE—or so we thought! We also looked at several plots of land, several other new constructions, and a preowned home on the market. Along the way, he educated us about building, the lay of the land, and how costs could vary depending on where we chose to build.
About a week later, I called him and said, “Javin, we found our home!” It was the “BIG MISTAKE”—the very first house we toured! He immediately went to work on our behalf. He guided us through negotiations, talked me through the moments when I wanted to walk away, and answered every question we had about the home and the builder. He never took a knee. The finish line was right in front of us, and no matter how many more questions I asked, he continued to provide answers. Even after closing.
I should also mention that this was a long-distance move from Louisiana to South Carolina, so Daniels Real Estate Group had to be our eyes and ears. Javin was our voice of reason and our advocate throughout the negotiations. Then it happened: we closed on our new home on September 27, 2026!
I could not have chosen a better realtor, and I am so grateful that my daughter brought us back together. It truly felt meant to be. I sincerely appreciate the time, effort, care, and professionalism of Javin and Daniels Real Estate Group. I’m always very protective of my friends and want to make sure they have the best experiences, especially with something as important as a relocation.
